Transforming Play: ACM legacy project at Ryan STEM Academy
On Saturday, April 4, 2026, Team Leader Mackenzie Mego led a transformational day of service at Ryan STEM Academy as part of her legacy project. A dedicated group of AmeriCorps members and staff came together to beautify the school’s blacktop, painting vibrant activity spaces that will give students new opportunities to engage in both team and individual play. Principal Clarissa Johnston reflected on the project with deep gratitude to all the AmeriCorps members who supported the effort.
In reflecting on this project, Principal Clarissa Johnston said, “Thank you to the AmeriCorps members who supported this effort—Vy Lam, Audrey Tang, Nesha Subramaniam, Jordan Mackie, Dennis Outhavong—and to their dedicated Senior Impact Manager, Ashwini Srinivas for helping make this impactful day possible.”
